Responsibilities of this confirmation path position will include teaching oral biology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, providing oral pathology reports to dental practitioners and developing and maintaining a programme of research leading to the publication of high quality papers in refereed international journals. It is anticipated that the successful applicant will be a qualified dentist, with a specialist qualification in oral pathology that is registerable with the Dental Council of New Zealand. It is expected that the successful applicant will demonstrate enthusiasm for oral biology and for communicating his/her knowledge and experience to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful applicant will ideally have an established research track record with an ongoing commitment to research or be committed to establishing a record (which may include enrolling in a PhD programme).
